01/1.1 After the creation of man, the Creator, Jehovih, said to him: That you shall know thou art the work of My hand, I have given thee capacity for knowledge, power and dominion. This was the 1st era.
01/1.2 But man was helpless; he did not understand the voice of the Almighty, neither did he stand upright. And Jehovih called His angels, who were older than the earth, and He said to them: Go forth, raise man upright and teach him to understand.
01/1.3 So the angels of heaven descended to the Earth and raised man upright. And man wandered about on the Earth. This was the 2nd era.
01/1.4 Jehovih said to the angels who were amongst man: Behold, man has multiplied on the Earth. Bring them together; teach man to dwell in cities and nations.
01/1.5 So the angels of Jehovih taught the peoples of the earth to dwell together in cities and nations. This was the 3rd era.
01/1.6 And in that same time the Beast (the self) rose up before man, and spoke to him, saying: Possess whatsoever thou wilt, for all things are yours, and are good for you.
01/1.7 And man obeyed the Beast; and war came into the world. This was the 4th era.
01/1.8 Man became sick at heart, and he called out to the Beast, saying: You said: possess thyself of all things, for they are good for me. Now, behold, war and death have encompassed me on all sides. I pray you, therefore, teach me peace!
01/1.9 But the Beast said: Do not think that I have come to send peace on the Earth; for I come not to send peace, but a sword. I come to set man at variance against his father; and a daughter against her mother. Whatsoever you find to eat, be it fish or flesh, eat therof, taking no thought of tomorrow.
01/1.10 And man ate fish and flesh, becoming carnivorous, and darkness descended upon him, yet neither did he hear the voice of Jehovih nor believe in Him. This was the 5th era.
01/1.11 Then the Beast divided itself into four great heads and possessed the Earth about; and man fell down and worshipped them.
01/1.12 And the names of the four heads of the Beast were as follows: BRAHMIN, BUDDHIST, CHRISTIAN, and MOHAMMEDIAN. And they divided the Earth, apportioning it between themselves, choosing soldiers and standing armies for the maintenance of their Earthly aggrandizement.
01/1.13 The Brahmins had seven million soldiers; the Buddhists twenty million; the Christians seven million; and the Mohammedians two million, whose trade was killing man. And man, in service of the Beast, gave one-sixth of his life and labour to war and standing armies; and one-third remaining of his life he gave to dissipation and drunkenness. This was the 6th era.
01/1.14 Jehovih called to man to desist from evil; but man did not hear Him, for the cunning of the Beast had altered man's flesh so that his soul was hid as if shrouded in a cloud, and he loved sin.
01/1.15 Jehovih called upon His angels in heaven, saying: Descend to the Earth once more, to man, whom I created to inhabit the earth and enjoy it, and say to him: This is what Jehovih now decrees:
01/1.16 Behold, the 7th era is at hand. Your Creator commands that you change from a carnivorous man of contention to a herbivorous man of peace. The four heads of the Beast shall be put away and war shall be no more on the Earth.
01/1.17 Thy armies shall be disbanded, and from this time forth, whosoever desires not to war, thou shall not impress; for it is the commandment of your Creator.
01/1.18 Neither shall you have any God, nor Lord or Savior, apart from your Creator, Jehovih! Henceforth and forever, you shall only worship Him. I am sufficient unto My own creations.
01/1.19 And to as many as separate themselves from the dominion of the Beast, making these covenants unto Me, have I given the foundation of My kingdom on Earth.
01/1.20 And all such shall be My chosen: By their covenants and by their works they shall henceforth be known on Earth as Mine, and shall be called FAITHISTS.
01/1.21 But to as many as will not make these covenants, I have given the numbers of the Beast, and they shall be called UZIANS, signifying destroyers. And henceforth, these shall be the two kinds of people on the Earth: FAITHIST and UZIAN.
01/1.22 And the angels of heaven descended to the Earth, appearing before man, face-to-face, hundreds of thousands of them, speaking and writing as man speaks and writes, teaching these things of Jehovih and His works.
01/1.23 And in the thirty-third year thereof, the Ambassadors of the angel hosts of heaven prepared and revealed unto man in the name Jehovih, His heavenly kingdoms; and thus have herein made known the plans of His delightful creations, for the resurrection of the peoples of Earth.
01/1.24 Not infallible is this book, OAHSPE, but to teach mortals how to attain to hear the Creator's voice, and to see His heavens in full consciousness while still living on the Earth; knowing truly the place and conditions awaiting them in the afterlife.
01/1.25 Neither are, nor were, the revelations contained within this book wholly new to mortals. The same things have been revealed at the same time to many who live at remote distances from one another, but who were not in correspondence until afterward.
01/1.26 Because this light is thus comprehensive, embracing both corporeal and spiritual things, it is called the beginning of the Cosmon Era. And because it relates to earth, sky and spirit, it is called OAHSPE.
